Elite Sports Basketball Rwanda (ESBR) is a vibrant and forward-thinking non-governmental organization passionately dedicated to nurturing and developing the next generation of basketball talent in Rwanda. Founded in October 2014 by Patrick Habiyaremye, who is currently the Assistant National Team Coach for the U18 boys and a certified FIBA Level 1 coach, ESBR’s mission is to elevate the standard of basketball among young athletes. After six years of planning and groundwork, the organization officially launched its operations in May 2020, establishing itself as a key player in youth basketball development across the country.

ESBR offers comprehensive and structured basketball programs tailored to young athletes aspiring to enhance their skills and compete at the highest levels. With a strong emphasis on technical development, sportsmanship, and physical conditioning, many of ESBR’s players have gone on to represent Rwanda’s U18 and U16 National Teams, showcasing their talents on both national and international stages.
